The Temporary Concept
A flexible space for new perspectives.
The Temporary Museum is a compact, adaptable exhibition concept that offers museums a new way to engage with their collections, audiences and the world around them.
Designed as a temporary space within an existing museum, it creates opportunities to respond to current events, explore unexpected perspectives or focus on a single object, story or question that deserves attention.
Its strength lies in its flexibility and immediacy. A space for experimentation, reflection and dialogue, allowing museums to explore ideas beyond the scope of traditional exhibitions.
Developed with sustainability in mind, the modular structure is designed to be reused, reconfigured and reimagined for different contexts and exhibitions.
HuismanVanMerode is currently developing this concept and invites museums and cultural institutions to explore opportunities for collaboration.
